Parts are less flexible and filing on slot may require. Always use hand tools / lubriant to screw the bolts on to the plastic fastener. Never over torque the fastener on the carbon fiber. If holes on the plastic fastener are too small for the screw, open the holes with a slight larger drill bit.

    Looks amazing, perfect fit!

    I wasn't a huge fan of the stock BMW grey center tank stripe and throught carbon fiber would look much better. I'm happy to say that I wasn't wrong!

    This part is an exact 1:1 replica of the OEM plastic and it was extremely easy to swap. The only tools I needed were a T25 driver, a metal file and some microfiber clothes to prevent any scratches during install.

    I would recommend taking a small metal file and smoothing / widening the tabs where the side panels snap in, as well as verifying that the bottom two metal fasteners sit firmly in place, below the shoulders of the tab. You can use the OEM plastic for reference.

    Overall I'm very satisfied with this purchase! The weave looks great and it was shipped very fast and with great care to revent scratches or damage in transit.

    Definitely will return to Tekarbon again for all carbon fiber parts!
